NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF MODIFICATION ORDERS
SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981

Harwell Byway Open to All Traffic No. 16 Modification Order 2025

On the 11 July 2025, Oxfordshire County Council confirmed without modification the above order made under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-
Adding to it the width of Harwell Byway Open to All Traffic No.16 as 9.14m (30 feet), as shown on the Inclosure Award.

Denchworth Footpath No. 1 (part) Modification Order 2025

On the 23 July 2025, Oxfordshire County Council confirmed without modification the above order made under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-
Adding to them the public footpath from Hyde Road at OS grid reference SU 3809 9174 running southwards for 195 metres to the existing northern end of Denchworth Footpath No. 1 at SU 3809 9172.

Copies of all Orders and their documents can also be obtained on request from countrysideaccesslegal@oxfordshire.gov.uk. The orders as confirmed became operative on the date of confirmation but if a person aggrieved by an order wants to question its validity, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that any requirement of Schedule 15 to the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, they may, under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 42 days from 7 August 2025, make an application to the High Court.
