Jacob Street - Temporary Road Closure due to Telecommunication Works

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

JACOB STREET, BRADFORD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works to be executed on or near Jacob Street, Bradford has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Jacob Street from its junction with Huston Street to a point outside the side of No.570 Manchester Road.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

No alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available.

The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 12th August 2025 and remains in force until 17:00 hours on the 14th August 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
