Brighton Street - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic During Resurfacing Works
What is happening?
THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
BRIGHTON STREET ROUNDABOUT WITH THE A63 (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:- Brighton Street Roundabout with the A63, Kingston upon Hull. The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during resurfacing works. The alternative route for vehicles is via the A63 and Hessle Road.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect for overnight closures from 7pm on 25 August 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
