Anlaby Road - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic
What is happening?
THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
ANLABY ROAD (PART) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Anlaby Road, at the bridge HJS/3, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during detailed bridge examination works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 13th September 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed nightly between 10pm on 13th September 2025 until 6am on 14th September 2025, and 10pm on 14th September 2025 until 6am on 15th September 2025.
