SAFETY OF SPORTS GROUNDS ACT, 1975
THE SAFETY OF SPORTS GROUNDS REGULATIONS 1987
The Derbyshire County Council, under the powers contained in Section 4 of the Safety of Sports Grounds Act, 1975, have issued the General Safety Certificate ("the Certificate”) in respect of The SMH Group Stadium, 1866 Sheffield Road, Chesterfield S41 8NZ (“the Sports Ground”) to Chesterfield Football Club plc on 28 July 2025.
A copy of the General Safety Certificate is available for inspection at County Hall, Matlock during normal office hours.
Section 5 of the said Act and Regulation 6 of the Regulations govern appeals in respect of decisions taken by the Local Authority concerning General Safety Certificates.
