A PRE-APPLICATION PUBLIC CONSULTATION EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE ON:

THE PROPOSAL
PROPOSED ERECTION OF A C.550MW BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE
FACILITY (BESS) AND ASSOCIATED 275KV TRANSFORMER, INCLUDING
4 NO. SWITCH HOUSE WITH CONTROL ROOMS, 4 NO. STORAGE
CONTAINERS, OFFICE TRAILER, LIGHTING AND CLOSED CIRCUIT TV
COLUMNS, NEW SITE BOUNDARY FENCING, AND THE ERECTION OF A
17MW SOLAR FARM AND ALL ASSOCIATED SITE WORKS.
SITE LOCATION
LANDS C.300M NORTH EAST OF 37 BELTOY ROAD BT38 9BH, AND
C.500M EAST OF 86 BELTOY ROAD BT38 GBZ, CARRICKFERGUS.

This notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to Mid and
East Antrim Borough Council at this time. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are
not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted
to Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, normal neighbourhood notification and publicity will be
undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations
regarding the proposal at that time.
