What is happening?
THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
CHAPEL LANE (PART) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along Chapel Lane, from the junction of High Street. The one way system will be made into a two way system for the duration of the closure.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during scaffold installation and deliveries to site.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
The Order will come into effect 4th August 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8am and 5pm commencing 4th August 2025 until 19th December 2025.

BEVERLEY ROAD (PART) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:- Beverley Road (northbound only), approx. 100m north of Mizzen Road to Hull CC / ERYC boundary. A temporary 30 mph speed limit will be in force for the duration of this closure, commencing 4th August 2025 until 16th August 2025, and Beverley Road (northbound only), Evergreen Drive to Downfield Avenue, between 7pm on 15th August 2025 until 6am on 16th August 2025.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during carriageway reconstruction and resurfacing works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will come into effect 4th August 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed as stated above.

ALEXANDRA ROAD (PART) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Alexandra Road, from the junction of Newland Avenue to the junction of Gouldesborough Court, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works to access a manhole on sewer network, which is causing flooding to properties.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the day.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will come into effect 13th August 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 9.30am and 3.30pm on 13th August 2025.

DUESBERY STREET (PART) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Duesbery Street, at the junction of Princes Avenue, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works to access a manhole cover on the sewer network, which is causing flooding to properties.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the day.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will come into effect 12th August 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 9.30am and 3.30pm on 12th August 2025.
