(HOATH WAY, CHATHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic for the installation of mobile telecommunications equipment, including the excavation and installation of a new telecoms cabinet and antenna column -

Hoath Way, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junctions with Sharsted Way Roundabout and Hoath Way Roundabout. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Sharsted Way, Hempstead Valley Drive, Hempstead Road and Hoath Way Roundabout.

This Order will come into force on Thursday, 28 August 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Thursday, 28 August 2025 and are programmed for completion within 2 nights (8pm – 6am). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(HOATH WAY AND COURTENEY ROAD, GILLINGHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable carriageway resurfacing and associated works to be carried out.

Hoath Way – to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the Gillingham-bound Junction 4 off-slip and the junction with Sharsted Way. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected.

Courteney Road – to be closed to all vehicular traffic in both directions between the Hoath Lane roundabout and the Tesco access point. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. Alternative routes will be available and signed as the works progress.

This Order will come into force on Thursday, 8 August 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to take place overnight on Thursday, 8 August 2025 between 8pm and 6am. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(BELLS LANE, HOO ST WERBURGH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to replace a fire hydrant and chamber.

Bells Lane, Hoo St Werburgh - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of “Berrill’, 247 Bells Lane. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Ratcliffe Highway, Main Rd Hoo, Main Rd and Bells Lane.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 11 August 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 11 August 2025 and are programmed for completion within 12 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(KILLICK ROAD, HOO)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable carriageway resurfacing and other associated highway works to be carried out-

Killick Road, Hoo - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 2 Killick Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Trubridge Road, Coombe Road, and Main Road.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 1 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 1 September 2025 and are programmed for completion within 3 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(HAM LANE, CHATHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable carriageway resurfacing and other associated highway works to be carried out -

Ham Lane, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic from the junction with Lidsing Road/Capstone Road to Shawstead Road by the council recycling centre (allowing access to recycling centre entrance). Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Capstone Road, North Dane Way, Shawstead Road, in both directions.

This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 2 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 2 September 2025 and are programmed for completion within 1 day (7am – 7pm). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable enfineers to renew a fire hydrant frame and cover -

Maidstone Road, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between across the frontage of 59 Maidstone Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Maidstone Road, Rochester Road, Maidstone Road A229, Roman Road, City Way A229, Star Hill A2, Victoria Street B2097, East Row, Maidstone Road, and reverse - Maidstone Road, East Row, Victoria Street, Corporation Street A2, Bardell Terrace, Furrells Road, High Street Rochester, Star Hill A2, City Way A229, Maidstone Road A229, Rochester Road B2097, Maidstone Road B2097.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 11 August 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. (SEATON ROAD AND SECOND AVENUE GILLINGHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable gas mains replacement works to be carried out -

Seaton Road and Second Avenue Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic in both Second Avenue and Seaton Road from the junction with Barnsole Road for a distance of 50 metres. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. Alternative routes will be provided and signed as the works progress.

This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 12 August 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 12 August 2025 and are programmed for completion within three weeks. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

Galahad Avenue, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontages of 2 to 14 Galahad Avenue. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Elaine Avenue, Watling Street and Lancelot Avenue.

This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 1 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. Matts Hill Lane, Rainham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Matts Hill Lane and the junction with Kemsley Street Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Kemsley Street Road, Maidstone Road, Deanwood Drive, Tyler Drive, Mierscourt Road, Matts Hill Road, in both directions.

This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 2 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 2 September 2025 and are programmed for completion within 1 day (07:00–19:00).
