What is happening?

CITY OF BRISTOL 

(CORBET CLOSE, AVONMOUTH & LAWRENCE WESTON WARD, CITY OF BRISTOL) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 202- 

The City Council of Bristol hereby gives NOTICE that it proposes to make a traffic order, the effect of which would be to prohibit any vehicle from entering or proceeding in Corbet Close between the hours of 8.25 a.m. and 9.05 a.m. and the hours of 2.45 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. on Monday to Friday. The closure would operate during Oasis Academy Bank Leaze term days only. 

Exemption would be provided for pedal cycles, blue badge holders, for specified/statutory purposes and for permit holders. Permits would be available to eligible Corbet Close residents and their essential visitors, and where necessary access to Oasis Academy Bank Leaze is required. 

Further information available from 24th July 2025 Further details of the proposals are contained in the draft order, which together with a plan and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the order may be inspected at the Citizen Service Point at 100 Temple Street, Bristol, BS1 6AG, between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on Monday to Friday. The draft order, plan and Statement of Reasons are also available to view on the Bristol City Council website at www.bristol.gov.uk/trafficorders. 

How to object Objections to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made, must be sent in writing to TRO Comments at the undermentioned address or by e-mail to tro.comments@bristol.gov.uk quoting reference CAE/RGW/P-1324 by 15th August 2025

Please include your name and address and note that all representations received may be considered in public by the City Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.
