What is happening?
CITY OF DONCASTER COUNCIL
NOTICE OF PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF LAND AT
BRODSWORTH WAY PAVILION, 35-55 BRODSWORTH WAY, ROSSINGTON,
DONCASTER, DN11 0FG.
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 123(2A) of the Local Government
Act 1972 that the City of Doncaster Council (“the Council”) Intends to dispose of an
area of public open space land which forms part of the public open space at
Brodsworth Way, Doncaster, by way of a freehold disposal. The area which is
proposed to be sold comprises approximately 0.27 acres. A plan identifying the land
is on deposit at the Business Reception desk at Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster
DN1 3BU and may be examined there during normal office hours. The proposed
disposal is for the main use as a sports pavilion by the general public for the delivery
of community services.
By virtue of Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 the Council is
required to give formal notice of its intention to dispose of public open space and
consider any objections to the proposed disposal. Any objections should be made in
writing to Scott Fawcus, Service Director, Legal and Democratic Services, City of
Doncaster Council, Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster DN1 3BU no later than 12
noon on 24th July 2025. (PO702)
