AS AMENDED (SECTION 123)
NOTICE is hereby given under section 123 (1) (2A) Local Government Act 1972 that Mid Sussex District Council proposes to dispose of a parcel of open space land of approximately 25 Square Metres by way of the grant of a new lease of 99 years of land forming part of the North side of Gatehouse Lane and the west and North side of Sussex Way, Burgess Hill registered under HM Land Registry title no WSX191685. It is intended to grant a lease to Southern Gas Networks PLC for the construction of a Gas Governor, at the North side of Gatehouse lane and The West and North sides of Sussex Way ,Burgess Hill.
A plan can be inspected at the council’s office reception desk at Oaklands, Haywards Heath RH16 1SS during normal business hours which shows the approximate extent and locations of these proposed facilities, or is available by email from
or calling 01444 477577.
Any person who wishes to object to this proposal should give their reasons in writing to me the undersigned by 12 noon 17th July 2025 quoting the reference below. Any objections received by that date will be considered by the District Council in deciding whether to grant the proposed lease.
