What is happening?

CIVIC GOVERNMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 1982
REVIEW OF TAXI TARIFF

Notice is hereby given, in terms of section 17(1) of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982; Falkirk Council has undertaken a review of the scales for the fares and other charges applicable to the hire of taxis within the Council area. In carrying out the review, the Council consulted with and heard representations from persons or organisations appearing to them to be or be representative of the operators of taxis within their area.

The general effect of the review is to propose that with effect from 1 October 2025 the existing scale of fares and charges shall remain unaltered as follows.

Any persons wishing to lodge representations with respect to the proposals may do so in writing to the Licensing Section, The Foundry, 4 Central Park, Central Boulevard, Larbert, FK5 4RU, or to:

licensing@falkirk.gov.uk

no later than one month from the date of first publication of this notice.
