(CLOSEBURN GALA PARADE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025 

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close various roads in Closeburn on Saturday 28/6/25 from 12:00 to 13:15. Parade route: Firmuir Ave, Shawsholm Rd, A76(T), C135n. The closure is necessary to facilitate activities associated with Closeburn Gala Parade. No alternative route is available. Minor delays should be expected for the duration of parade. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY COUNCIL (YOUTH BEATZ EVENT 2025)(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2025 

The council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close roads and suspend parking on various streets in relation to the above event on 28/06/25 and 29/06/25. The closure and restrictions are required to facilitate safe exit from the event.

New Abbey Rd and Pleasance Ave will be closed adjacent to Dumfries Rugby Club between 21:30 and 22:30 on 28/06/25 and between 21:30 and 22:30 on 29/06/25.

Parking Suspensions will also be in place on lengths of New Abbey Rd, Pleasance Ave, Rotchell Rd and Park Rd from 00:01 on 28/06/25 until 23:59 on 29/06/25.

(U230N CLUNIE & U231N GLENMILLS) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025 

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the U230n/U231n on Y-junction at Bushcroft, Dumfries, South of Clunie Bridge from 0900 on 01/07/25 – 1730 on 11/07/25. Works will be carried out in 2 parts with first road crossing being reinstated before work commences on second road crossing. The closure is necessary to facilitate undergrounding of overhead power cables. Alternative route available: U230n via – U230n, C14n, C56n, A75(T), U230n and vice versa and U231n via – U230n, U347n, U231n and vice versa. Emergency access will be available. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(U734N GILLOCH AVENUE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025 
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U734n o/s No.2 Gilloch Avenue from 0930 – 2100 on 02/07/25. The closure is necessary to facilitate Scottish Water ironwork repair works. No Alternative route available. Emergency access will be available. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
