Form of citation by advertisement IN THE COURT OF SESSION in the cause CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL, a local authority constituted under the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994 and having a place of business at Waverley Court, 4 East Market Street, Edinburgh, EH8 8BD (petitioner) in an application to the nobile officium of the Court of Session for approval of the Scheme to wind up the Lauriston Castle Trust and transfer all of the assets of the Lauriston Castle Trust to the City of Edinburgh Council, with the condition that the assets of the Lauriston Castle Trust will continue to be used for charitable purposes outlined in the Deed of Trust, and that the building of Lauriston Castle itself shall be retained and kept as much as it at present exists in outward appearance and the grounds shall be kept as pleasurable grounds.

An action has been brought in the Court of Session by the City of Edinburgh Council. Should any individuals not otherwise served with the petition wish to challenge the jurisdiction of the court or to lodge answers in the action they should contact the Deputy Principal Clerk of Session, Court of Session, Parliament Square, Edinburgh, EH1 1RQ (Telephone 0131 225 2595) immediately and in any event not later than 21 days from the date of publishment of this advertisement.
