What is happening?

The Church Commissioners have prepared a draft Pastoral Scheme providing for the church of Saint James’s, in the parish of Littlehampton, Saint Mary and Saint James, to be declared closed for regular public worship. A copy may be inspected at the church of Saint James’s, on the notice board of Littlehampton Town Council (The Manor House, Church Street, Littlehampton, West Sussex BN17 5EW), online at
www.churchofengland.org/consultation
or obtained from the Commissioners. Large print and/or audio copies are available. You may make representations either for or against all or part of the draft Scheme in
writing by post or, preferably, by email to Shaman Durrant, Church Commissioners, Church House, Great Smith Street, London, SW1P 3AZ or to

to reach her by Monday 14th July 2025.
