What is happening?

OPEN SPACE NOTICE
LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 SECTION 123(2A)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sheffield City Council proposes to dispose of an area of land which is considered open space. The land to be disposed of is approximately 176 square metres in size and is situated between Roscoe Bank and Stannington Road, Stannington, S6. The land will be sold freehold and is to be used solely as garden land and for no other purpose.

A plan identifying the land intended for disposal can be inspected at Howden House, Union Street, Sheffield S1 2SH between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday or electronically via the website

Objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing, stating the grounds for objection, no later than 12 noon on 3 July 2025 and addressed to Angela Glentworth, Regeneration and Property Services, Sheffield City Council, Howden House, Union Street, Sheffield S1 2SH or by e-mail to

PropertyServices@sheffield.gov.uk.
