What is happening?

Hackney carriages – table of fares
Notice is given that Dacorum Borough Council has varied the table of fares and charges payable in connection with the hire of hackney carriages within the borough of Dacorum, under section 65 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976.
The last Tariff rate change was in May 2022.
After careful review the effect of the variation is to increase the fare charged on Tariffs 1 and 2 and introduce a new multi-seater Tariff for passengers between 5-8 as Tariff 3 and 4.
The fares for Christmas and New Years working have also been amended to be simplified and clearer.

Any objection to this variation may be made, in writing, to Licensing, Dacorum Borough Council, The Forum, Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 1DN, within the period of 14 days from the publication of this notice.
