NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION
PUBLIC PATH AND DEFINTIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDERS
FOOTPATH 10 DIVERSION ORDER 2025 (PARISH OF LAWLEY & OVERDALE)
On 15 May 2025 the Authority confirmed the above Order, made on 6 March 2025
under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 53(2)(b) of the Wildlife and
Countryside Act 1981 and the effect of this Order as confirmed is to modify the
definitive map and statement by deleting the footpath from SJ 68388 08577 at the
junction with Hill Fold the route being an undefined path having a width of 1 metre
continues in a general north-easterly direction through residential properties for a
distance of 40 metres to the junction with Cemetery Road at SJ 68419 08599 and
adding a footpath from SJ 68388 08577 at the junction with Hill Fold the route being
a surfaced pavement having a width of 1.5 metres continues north along Hill Fold for
a distance of 25 metres to SJ 68382 08606 then continues east along a surfaced
path having a width of 1.5 metres for a distance of 24 metres to the junction with
Cemetery Road at SJ 68405 08608. undefined path having a width of 1 metre continues east
for a distance of 23 metres to the junction with an unnumbered footpath at
(GRSJ 68267 05928) then continues south-east for a distance of 75 metres to
(GRSJ 68350 05902) and adding a footpath at (GRSJ 68277 05881) the route being
a woodland path having a width of 1.2 metres continues east-north-east for a distance of
65 metres to (GRSJ 68350 05902).
BRIDLEWAY 177a DIVERSION ORDER 2024 (PARISH OF LAWLEY & OVERDALE)
On 15 May 2025 the Authority confirmed the above Order, made on 22 August 2024
under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 53(2)(b) of the Wildlife and
Countryside Act 1981 and the effect of this Order as confirmed is to modify the
definitive map and statement by deleting the Bridleway From GRSJ 67883 09512 the
route being a surfaced path having a width of 2.5 metres continues north-east by
east for a distance of 45 metres to GRSJ 67905 09522 and adding a Bridleway from
GRSJ 67883 09512 the route being a surfaced path having a width of 2.5 metres
continues east for a distance of 6 metres then continues north-east by east for a
distance of 35 metres then continues north-east by north for a distance of 6 metres to
GRSJ 67905 09522.
BRIDLEWAY 177a CREATION ORDER 2024 (PARISH OF LAWLEY & OVERDALE)
On 15 May 2025 the Authority confirmed the above Order, made on 15 August 2024
under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 53(2)(b) of the Wildlife and
Countryside Act 1981 and the effect of this Order as confirmed is to modify the
definitive map and statement by creating a Bridleway From GRSJ 67820 09471 at
the junction with Bridleway 177 the route being an surfaced path having a width of
2.5 metres continues north-east by east for a distance of 275 metres to the junction
with Footpath 178 at GRSJ 68086 09607 then continues north-east by east for a
distance of 60 metres to GRSJ 68125 09633 at the junction with Rock Road.
FOOTPATH 16 DIVERSION ORDER 2024 (PARISH OF LAWLEY & OVERDALE)
On 15 May 2025 the Authority confirmed the above Order, made on 22 August 2024
under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 53(2)(b) of the Wildlife and
Countryside Act 1981 and the effect of this Order as confirmed is to modify the
definitive map and statement by deleting the Footpath from GRSJ 67737 09289 the
route being an undefined path having a width of 1 metre continues north across open
land and a pool for a distance of 200 metres to the junction with Bridleway 177 at
GRSJ 67714 09482 and adding a Footpath at GRSJ 67737 09289 the route being a
surfaced path having a width of 1.5 metres continues east for a distance of 15 metres
to GRSJ 67751 09297 then continues north for a distance of 190 metres to the
junction with Bridleway 177 at GRSJ 67770 09479.
FOOTPATH 17 DIVERSION ORDER 2024 (PARISH OF LAWLEY & OVERDALE)
On 15 May 2025 the Authority confirmed the above Order, made on 22 August 2024
under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 53(2)(b) of the Wildlife and
Countryside Act 1981 and the effect of this Order as confirmed is to modify the
definitive map and statement by deleting the Footpath From GRSJ 67938 09397 at
the junction with Footpath 181 the route being an undefined path having a width of 1
metre continues across a residential site in a general south-easterly direction for a
distance of 210 metres to GRSJ 68113 09259 at the junction with The Rock and
adding a Footpath From GRSJ 68047 09425 the route being an unsurfaced path
having a width of 2 metres continues south for a distance of 170 metres to GRSJ
68071 09244 then continues east for a distance of 40 metres as a surfaced path
having a width of 1.5 metres to GRSJ 68111 09238 at the junction with The Rock.
FOOTPATH 178 DIVERSION ORDER 2025 (PARISH OF LAWLEY & OVERDALE)
On 15 May 2025 the Authority confirmed the above Order, made on 27 February
2025 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 53(2)(b) of the
Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and the effect of this Order as confirmed is to
modify the definitive map and statement by deleting the footpath from (GRSJ 68080
09606) at the junction with Bridleway 177A the route being a track having a width of
1.5 metres continues south-east for a distance of 110 metres to the junction with
Footpath 179 (GRSJ 68121 09505) and adding a footpath (GRSJ 68036 09587) at
the junction with Bridleway 177A the route being a surfaced path having a width of
1.5 metres continues east-south-east for a distance of 30 metres to the junction with
the estate road at (GRSJ 68067 09585) then continues along the estate road for a
distance of 18 metres to (GRSJ 68087 09575) then continues south-by-east along
the estate road for a distance of 27 metres to (GRSJ 68093 09546) then continues
east-by-south along the estate road for a distance of 15 metres to (GRSJ 68104
09545) then continues south-east along the estate road for a distance of 30 metres to
(GRSJ 68118 09519) then continues south along a surfaced path having a width of
1.5 metres to the junction with Footpath 179 at (GRSJ 68121 09505).
FOOTPATH 181 (PART) DIVERSION ORDER 2024 (PARISH OF LAWLEY & OVERDALE)
On 15 May 2025 the Authority confirmed the above Order, made on 15 August 2025
under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 53(2)(b) of the Wildlife and
Countryside Act 1981 and the effect of this Order as confirmed is to modify the
definitive map and statement by extinguishing From GRSJ 67724 09339 at the
junction with Footpath 16 the route being an undefined path having a width of 1
metre continues east-north-east across a residential site for a distance of 225 metres
to the junction with Footpath 17 at GRSJ 67938 09397 then continues east-northeast for a distance of 100 metres to GRSJ 68047 09425.

The Orders became operative on 15 May 2025 by the Authority but if a person
aggrieved by the Order wants to questions its validity, or that of any provision
contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Section 119 of the
Highways Act 1980, and Section 53(2)(b) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981
have not been complied with, they may within 50 days of the date of publication of
this Notice apply to the High Court.
FOOTPATH 218 DIVERSION ORDER 2025 (PARISH OF DAWLEY HAMLETS)
On 22 May 2025 the Authority confirmed the above Order, made on 27 February
2025 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 53(2)(b) of the
Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and the effect of this Order as confirmed is to
modify the definitive map and statement by deleting the footpath from (GRSJ 68245
05933) at the junction with the Lightmoor Road the path being an undefined path
having a width of 1 metre continues east for a distance of 23 metres to the junction
with an unnumbered footpath at (GRSJ 68267 05928) then continues south-east for
a distance of 75 metres to (GRSJ 68350 05902) and adding a footpath at (GRSJ
68277 05881) the route being a woodland path having a width of 1.2 metres
continues east-north-east for a distance of 65 metres to (GRSJ 68350 05902).
FOOTPATH UNNUMBERED (HILLCREST) DIVERSION ORDER 2025 (PARISH OF DAWLEY HAMLETS)
On 22 May 2025 the Authority confirmed the above Order, made on 13 March 2025
under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 53(2)(b) of the Wildlife and
Countryside Act 1981 and the effect of this Order as confirmed is to modify the
definitive map and statement by deleting the footpath from (GRSJ 68267 05926) at
the junction with the Footpath 218 the path being an undefined path having a width of
1 metre continues in a general southerly direction for a distance of 60 metres to
(GRSJ 68277 05865) and adding a footpath from (GRSJ 68246 05917) at the
junction with the Lightmoor Road the route being a stone surfaced path having a
width of 1.2 metres continues in a general easterly direction for a distance of 37
metres to point (GRSJ 68281 05900) then continues south-south-west for a distance
of 40 metres to (GRSJ 68277 05865).
