What is happening?

Notice is given in accordance with section 19 (1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 and the statutory guidance for proposers and decision- makers in ‘Making significant changes (‘prescribed alterations’) to maintained schools issued in March 2025 that Somerset Council intends to make prescribed alterations to Knights Templar Community Church School at Liddymore Road, Watchet, TA23 0EX. The Council proposes the creation of an onsite SEN unit to cater for children with Autism. The statutory representation period is from Monday 2 June to Monday 30 June 2025. This Notice is a brief extract of the full related proposals that are available to view on the school’s website - www.knightstemplarfirst.co.uk Any person or organisation wishing to object or comment upon these proposals can do so by accessing the questionnaire at https://forms.office.com/e/pHuHeRpeP3 by the closing date of 5pm on Monday 30 June 2025
