DEFORESTATION:
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
ASSESSMENT
It is intended to carry out the following project in respect
of the Environmental Impact Assessment (Forestry)
Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006 (as amended).
Reference: ERA18/19-26
Project Type: Deforestation
Location: Pomeroy Road, Ballygroogan,
Cookstown, Co Tyrone,
BT80 9HF
Grid Reference: H 78619 76581
Area: Total 15 ha
Project Description: Deforestation and conversion
to agricultural land.
Under the Regulations this
project has previously been
deemed as a relevant project.
The applicant has now
submitted an environmental
statement and applied
for Consent.

Consent for the project to proceed can be issued by the
Department under the Regulations taking account of the
selection criteria specified in the legislation. Each project is
required to comply with the UK Forestry Standard.

Any person wishing to make representations in relation
to the likely environmental effects of the proposed project
