ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

A444 WEDDINGTON ROAD, A444 LEICESTER ROAD & A47 OLD HINCKLEY ROAD, NUNEATON

Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows:

Phase 1: 1 June 2025
A444 Weddington Road closed between its junctions with A47 Old Hinckley Road and
Weddington Terrace (North).
A47 Old Hinckley Road closed between A444 Weddington Road and junction opposite
no. 19 Old Hinckley Road.

Phase 2: 8, 15, 22 & 29 June 2025
A444 Leicester Road (Eastbound Carriageway), A444 Weddington Road and A47 Old Hinckley Road closed between Regent Street and Saints Way.
A444 Weddington Road closed between its junctions with A47 Old Hinckley Road and Weddington Terrace (North).
A47 Old Hinckley Road closed between A444 Weddington Road and junction opposite no. 19 Old Hinckley Road.

Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, in phases over 5 consecutive Sundays, 08.00hrs-17.00hrs.

Order Commences: 1 June 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 29 June 2025.

Access & Diversion: Phase 1: (Clockwise) A444, A5, A47, A444. Phase 1: (Anti-clockwise) A47, A5, A444.

Phase 2: (Clockwise) A444 Weddington Road, A5, A47 (Long Shoot, Hinckley Road) and A47 Leicester Road. Phase 2: (Anti-clockwise) A444 Coton Road, A4254 (Avenue Road, Eastboro Way), A47 Hinckley Road and A444 Leicester Road.

ELM WAY, HARTSHILL, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable works to repair a boundary box.
Order Commences: 2 June 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 3 June 2025.
Access & Diversion: There is no available diversion.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

CHAPEL STREET & EDWARD ROAD, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable water network works.
Order Commences: 18 June 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 20 June 2025.
Access & Diversion: King Street, Rye Piece Ringway, The Grove and vice versa.
Contractor: Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

OLDBURY ROAD, HARTSHILL
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable pipe renewal works.
Order Commences: 18 June 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 20 June 2025.
Access & Diversion: Oldbury Road, Church Road, School Hill, Coleshill Road, Ansley Common, West View, Pipers Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

(BOROUGH OF NUNEATON AND BEDWORTH) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS, ON STREET PARKING PLACES AND RESIDENTS’ PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION) (VARIATION NO. SKC01) ORDER 2025

Warwickshire County Council propose to make the above-named Order, pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to vary the existing Warwickshire County Council (Borough of Nuneaton and Bedworth) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions, On Street Parking Places & Residents’ Parking) (Consolidation) Order 2017 (as varied) as described in the Schedule below.

A copy of the proposed Order, together with a copy of the Order to be varied, and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, are available to view at Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick, and online on the Council’s website at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20207/nuneaton-bedworth-borough.
