What is happening?

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS
Derby City Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON WEST AVENUE NORTH, DERBY
WHEN: 04 June 2025 to 18 June 2025
WHERE: West Avenue North – from its junction with Derby Road to outside no. 105
REASON: Gas works
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Derby Road – West Avenue South – West Avenue North and the same in the opposite direction
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON WEST AVENUE SOUTH, DERBY
WHEN: 16 June 2025 to 30 June 2025
WHERE: West Avenue South, from its junction with Derby Road to outside no. 1 West Avenue South
REASON: Gas works
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Derby Road – West Avenue North – West Avenue South and the same in the opposite direction
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON SUTTON AVENUE, DERBY
WHEN: 16 June 2025 to 30 June 2025
WHERE: Sutton Avenue, from its junction with Derby Road for a distance of approximately 100 metres
REASON: Gas works
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Sutton Avenue – Maple Drive – Derby Road (and the same in the opposite direction)
TEMPORARY PARKING BAY SUSPENSION ORDER ON ST MARYS GATE, DERBY
WHEN: 23 June 2025 to 03 July 2025
WHERE: St Marys Gate, from number 23 to number 26 – a distance of approximately 30 metres
REASON: Gas works
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: N/A
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON SPRINGFIELD ROAD, DERBY
WHEN: 28 July 2025 to 11 August 2025
WHERE: Springfield Road, at its junction with Sinfin Moor Lane
REASON: Gas works
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Sinfin Moor Lane – Derby Road – West Avenue South – Chelwood Road – Springfield Road and the same in the opposite direction
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON SINFIN MOOR LANE, DERBY
WHEN: 16 July 2025 to 06 August 2025
WHERE: Sinfin Moor Lane, from its junction with Derby Road to outside number 14 – a distance of approximately 70 metres
REASON: Gas works
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Derby Road – West Avenue South – Chelwood Road – Springfield Road – Sinfin Moor Lane and the same in the opposite direction
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON BEAUMONT WALK, DERBY
WHEN: 18 June 2025 to 30 November 2026
WHERE: Beaumont Walk – footpath from its southern junction with Blackmore Street, to its northern junction with Grange Avenue
REASON: Construction works
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Pedestrian access via Blackmore Street – Coleridge Street – Grange Avenue
