PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY 124B PARISH OF GREAT DAWLEY
Notice is hereby given that Borough of Telford & Wrekin has dedicated, with effect from the date of this notice, a new public bridleway in the Parish of Great Dawley. Horsehay Golf Club - The bridleway commences on adopted highway Stainburn Road at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SJ 66879 07990 and continues in a circular south direction in front of the golf club house, circumnavigating the car park on a surfaced track with a width of 2 metres for 586 metres to go under a tunnel at OSGR SJ 66887 07836 where the route then forks at a t junction to the north and south. Commencing at OSGR SJ 66929 07854 proceeding in a general north direction the route is surfaced with a width of 3 metres and passes the 1 st tee of the golf course, continuing in a general north-north east direction for 251 metres the path turns east–by-south through an unsurfaced wooded area behind houses for 109 metres to OSGR SJ 67168 08065 on the edge of the golf course where the route proceeds on an undefined field edge path in a general north east direction for 82 metres to merge onto an unnumbered bridleway for 70 metres to OSGR SJ 67281 08188 continuing for 50 metres to terminate on adopted highway Lawley Gate at OSGR SJ 67278 08223. Commencing at OSGR SJ 66929 07854 proceeding in a general south direction on an enclosed and surfaced path with a width of 3 metres for approximately 486 metres to terminate on the junction with bridleway 124 at OSGR 67123 07456
Limitations: The right to install a horse steps across the bridleway provided that such installation is designed and maintained so as not to prevent the use by the public as a right of way.
