What is happening?
(Dumfries Guid Nychburris Festival)
(Temporary Traffic Regulation Order) Order 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close roads around Dumfries to accommodate Guid Nychburris ride out events between 23/5/25 and 19/6/25.
Drivers should expect minor delays for the duration of these events.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

(C135N Laught - Cample)
(Temporary Traffic Regulation Order) Order 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close C135n at Cample Mill, Thornhill from 0800 to 1600 on 28/05/25.
The closure is necessary to facilitate septic tank works.
Alternative route available via C135n, A76, C135n and vice versa.
Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
(U214A Brydekirk Mill)
(Temporary Traffic Regulation Order) No.3 Order 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U214a Manse Crescent, Brydekirk between River Street and Mill House from 28/05/25 to 29/05/25 (0800 to 1600 daily).
The closure is necessary to facilitate Scottish Water septic tank works.
Alternative route available via U214a River Street, C49a Bridge Street, U214a Manse Crescent and vice versa.
Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
