THE MARRIAGE (APPROVED PREMISES) REGULATIONS 1995 AND CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS ACT 2004

NOTICE OF INTENDED APPLICATION FOR AN APPROVAL UNDER THE REGULATIONS

I NICOLA JANE GRIERSON 

of BARNSLEY TOWN HALL, CHURCH STREET, BARNSLEY S70 2TA

HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that I, NICOLA JANE GRIERSON on 12TH MAY 2025 applied to the BARNSLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL for the renewal to me of an Approval to use the following premises:

BARNSLEY TOWN HALL 

For Civil Marriages and Civil Partnerships conducted by a Superintendent Registrar and a Registrar subject to the availability of the Registration Service Team. 

Any person wishing to object to the intended application may do so by letter stating in full the grounds on which the objection is based, addressed to the Service Director of Law and Governance CORE services, Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, PO Box 679, Barnsley, S70 9JE. 

Any such letter must arrive by 13TH JUNE 2025

The application and the plan of the built premises which identifies the room or rooms in which marriages and civil partnerships may, if approved, be solemnised may be inspected by contacting the Register Office on 01226 773555, until such time as the application has been determined by the Council/or the applications has been withdrawn.
