BETWEEN CHAPEL STREET AND CHURCH ROAD, PELSALL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that the Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intend to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any traffic from proceeding along part of the Definitive Public Right of Way known as Footpath 15 Aldridge,
between Chapel Street and Church Road, Pelsall.
The alternative route for pedestrians affected by this order will be along Chapel Street, Norton Road and Church Road.
Access to the footpath will be unavailable for the duration of roof repair works at 27 Chapel Street directly adjacent to the footpath, which are anticipated to commence
on 23 May 2025. The Order will remain in force for up to a maximum period of 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. It is anticipated that the works will be completed and the footpath will re-open by 13 June 2025.
Closure during this period is necessary in the interests of public safety during the roof repair works.
