ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS
Public Footpath No.11 (Part) Parish of Sutton
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following:
That length of Public Footpath No.11 (Part) Parish of Sutton which commences at OS grid reference (OSGR) SJ 95248 71527 and runs in a generally south westerly direction for approx. 361m to the junction with Footpath No.10 Parish of Sutton at OSGR SJ 95183 71200.
The closure is necessary to protect the public from danger while works are taking place on or adjacent to the Public Right of Way at Ridgegate Reservoir.
The Order will come into force on 26 May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of six months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
