Studlands Park Avenue and Hyperion Way, Newmarket - Temporary Closure to Facilitate Resurfacing Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6503 STUDLANDS PARK AVENUE AND HYPERION WAY, NEWMARKET

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads: 

• U6503 Studlands Park Avenue, Newmarket from Persimmon Walk to Studlands Park Avenue

• U6503 Hyperion Way, Newmarket from the junction with Studlands Park Avenue to the junction with Persimmon Walk.

This is to facilitate resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Studlands Park Avenue, Nimbus Way, Hyperion Way and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 16/05/2025 from 9.30am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
