What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH (CONSOLIDATED)

(WAITING, LOADING, STOPPING, DISABLED PARKING AND RESIDENTS PARKING)

AMENDMENT ORDER No.60, MAY 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.


Restrictions under the Order

Proposed electric vehicle recharging only bays at the locations below:

2 No. opposite 5 St Thomas Close, Walsall
2 No. opposite 24 Birmingham Road, Walsall
2 No. Countess Street, Walsall (adjacent to 2 Earl Street)
2 No. Edward Street, Darlaston (adjacent to rear of 194 Walsall Road)
2 No. opposite 13-35 Cresswell Crescent, Bloxwich
2 No. opposite 1-17 Mossley Lane, Bloxwich
2 No. opposite 2/4 Broadstone Avenue, Bloxwich
2 No. opposite 18/19 Slater Street, Darlaston
2 No. Station Street, Darlaston (adjacent to 417- 434 Walsall Road)
2 No. opposite 51-57 Queen Elizabeth Avenue, Bentley
2 No. opposite 161 Westbrook Avenue, Aldridge

Full details of these proposals are contained in the Draft Order and plans which show the roads subject to the Order and the extent and details of the controls proposed. This Order and the plans
along with a Statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined by appointment at The Civic Centre, Darwall Street, WALSALL, during normal office hours.
