What is happening?
ASPEN OFFSHORE WIND FARM – PRE-APPLICATION PUBLIC CONSULTATION
Aspen Offshore Wind Farm is a planned large floating wind farm, approximately 84km from Peterhead, situated close to oil and gas platforms in the Central North Sea.
Cerulean Aspen Project Ltd will be hosting a pre-application public consultation event for the offshore elements of the development at The Hut, Chapelton, Liddell Pl, Greenlaw Rd, Chapelton of Elsick, Stonehaven, AB39 8BA.
The event will be held on Wednesday 11th June 2025, between 2pm and 8pm.

The Aspen team is keen to hear your views on the proposal and looks forward to welcoming you at the event on Wednesday 11th June. All thoughts and suggestions received as part of this consultation will be carefully considered before a planning application is submitted to the Scottish Minister’s Marine Directorate – Licencing and Operations Team (MD-LOT).
The deadline for submitting comments on the proposed project is Friday 27th June 2025.
Cerulean Winds welcome comments during our public consultation period, but these are not representations to Scottish ministers at this stage. Once the formal application is submitted then representations can be made to the Scottish Ministers.
