TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS VARIOUS ROADS (AS SET OUT IN THE SCHEDULE BELOW), COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on the roads detailed in the below Schedule.

The Order will come into effect on 07:00 hours on Friday 25th April 2025 and is required to enable Pothole repairs and associated works to take place safely on the said roads.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 31st March 2026.

The roads will be closed or restricted on a number of occasions for various durations, to such an extent when prescribed signs are displayed.

The specific closure times for each road would apply as the signage indicates on site. Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed on site and access to premises would be maintained wherever possible.

The Schedule

Almond Tree Avenue, Carey Street, Carter Road, Penarth Grove, Duke Barn Field, Flecknose Street, Headborough Road, Henry Boteler Road, Jasmine Grove, Lion Fields Avenue, Lynmouth Road, St Catherines Close, The Moorfield, Watcombe Road.

Exemptions will be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(d) local vehicular access to and egress to properties on the closed section of the roads.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS PETITOR CRESCENT, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Petitor Crescent from the roundabout to Eathorpe Close.

The Order will come into effect on 00.01 hours on Monday 28th April 2025 and is required to allow for Gas replacement works to take place on the said road.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Friday 9th May 2025.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.

Exemptions will be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS COVENTRY HALF MARATHON & 10K RUN 2025

Coventry City Council (“the Council”) under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, as amended, has made a temporary Order (“the Order”), the purpose of which is to facilitate the holding of, and to enable members of the public to watch, the Coventry Half Marathon & 10K Run 2025.

The Order will come into effect at 16.00 hours on Saturday 26th April 2025 and will remain in operation until 15.00 hours on Sunday, 27th April 2025.

The general effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading, unloading, entering, or proceeding along the lengths of the road listed in Schedules 1 to 3 below on the dates and times stated.

The restrictions in the Order shall apply to such extent and at such times as indicated by prescribed traffic signs on site.

Diversion routes for the closures would be as signed on site.

Local access for the following: Brownshill Green Road [garden centre] via Long Lane to Coundon Green; Coundon Green will be maintained; Wall Hill Road will be maintained via Piker’s Lane; Warwick Road will be maintained via ring road junction 5 to Friar’s Road; and Waste Lane.

Roads will be re-opened when it is safe to do so.

Exemptions will be provided for any vehicle being used in connection with the event, emergency service vehicles, any person upon the direction of or with the permission of a police officer in uniform or an authorised traffic 
management event marshal.

Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction and access through the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Sherwood Jones Close for its full length.

The Order would come into effect at 00.01 hours on Monday 5th May 2025 and is required to allow for a storm connection to main on the said road.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Friday 9th May 2025.

The specific closure times would apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed on site.

Exemptions would be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(d) local vehicular access to Sherwood Jones Close.

TEMPORARY PARKING & TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS VARIOUS ROADS, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of which would be to prohibit waiting, loading and unloading, entering or proceeding of any vehicle on the entire lengths of road specified in The Schedule below when prescribed signs are displayed. The roads would be closed or restricted on a number of occasions for the various durations. The Order would come into effect at 07:00 hours on Friday 2nd May 2025 and is required for footway reconstruction, repairs and associated works to be undertaken safely.

Diversion routes would be sign posted where appropriate and access to premises maintained wherever possible except when works is directly in front of a property. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is envisaged that the works would be completed by 31st March 2026.

Exemptions would be provided for:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of said works;

(b) emergency service vehicles;

(c) any persons requiring reasonable vehicular access or egress to properties on the closed section of road.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS BRIDGE STREET, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Bridge Street from its junction with Stoney Stanton Road to its junction with Belmont Road.

The Order would come into effect from 00:01 hours on Tuesday 6th May 2025 and is required to allow gas main connection works on the highway to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 23:59 hours on Tuesday 27th May 2025.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversions for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.

Exemptions would be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works

(d) local vehicular access to Bridge Street.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS HOLLYFAST LANE, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering,
proceeding along Hollyfast Lane from its junction with Wall Hill Road to its junction with Tamworth Road

The Order would come into effect from 00:01 hours on Thursday 8th May 2025 and is required to allow new water connection works on the highway to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 23:59 hours on Saturday 10th May 2025.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversions for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.

Exemptions would be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS FERN CLOSE AND PALM TREE AVENUE, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Fern Close and Palm Tree Avenue commencing from the junction with Heather Road and continuing to the junction with Privet Road.

The Order would come into effect at 00.01 hours on Tuesday 6th May 2025 and is required to allow for Section 50 works to install a new water and electric connection to take place safely on the said road.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Friday 16th May 2025.

The specific closure times would apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed on site.

Exemptions would be provided for:
