NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER

Town and Country Planning Act 1990 Section 257

The Lichfield District Council

(Public Footpath No.36 (Part) in the Parish of Alrewas)

Public Path Diversion Order 2024

The above Order was confirmed on 4 April 2025. The effect of the Order will be to divert
that part of footpath No.36 (Part) in the Parish of Alrewas commencing at Grid Reference
SK 1484, 1606 (Point A on the Plan) and running in a generally north westerly direction for
approximately 75 meters to Grid Reference SK 1481 1612 (Point B on the Plan) on to a line
commencing at Grid Reference SK 1484, SK1606 (Point A on the Plan), then proceeding in
a north north-easterly direction, passing to the right hand side of the vehicular access gate
for approximately 9 meters to Grid Reference SK 1485 1606 (Point C on the Plan), then
running in a westerly direction for approximately 27 meters to Grid Reference SK 1482
1607 (Point D on the Plan), then running in a generally northerly direction for approximately
55 meters to Grid Reference SK 1482 1612 (Point E on the Plan), then turning in a westerly
direction running parallel to the barn for approximately 11 meters to re-join Public Footpath,
Alrewas No 36 at Grid Reference SK 1481 1612 (Point B on the Plan) as shown on the
order plan.

A copy of the Confirmed Order and the Order Map may be viewed on the Council’s website
or at the offices of Lichfield District Council, District Council House, Frog Lane, Lichfield
between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased.
The Order will come into force once Lichfield District Council certify that the new footpath
has been provided to a satisfactory standard. Any person aggrieved by the Order, wants to
question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not
within the powers of the above Act or any regulation made under it, has not been complied
with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for
any of these purposes under Section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act within six
weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of
Schedule 14 to the Act.
