What is happening?
(U300S HIGH STREET) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U300s High Street, Kirkcudbright between Union Street and Castle Bank junctions from 14/04/25 to 18/04/25 (8am to 5pm daily). The closure is necessary to facilitate Openreach ducting works. No alternative route is available due to one-way streets. Access to properties will be maintained if required. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

Written comments may be made to Head of Economy and Development by email to Planning@dumgal.gov.uk or via the Council’s website, as noted above, by 17/04/2025 (Type A) or 24/04/2025 (Type B).
