What is happening?

CAMBRIDGESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(A1307 Babraham Road/Cambridge Road, Haverhill Road and High Street, Great Shelford, Stapleford and Babraham) (40mph and 50mph Speed Limits) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that on 26th March 2025 Cambridgeshire County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of this is to introduce a 40mph Speed Limit on Haverhill Road, Stapleford from A1307 Babraham Road south-westwards to 275m north-east of Gog Magog Way.

To request a copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 4th April 2025, or other documents please telephone 0345 045 5212 or e-mail to policyandregulation@cambridgeshire.gov.uk.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the 26th March 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
