(WOULDHAM ROAD, ROCHESTER)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable the structural integrity of telephone poles to be tested -

Wouldham Road, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the entrance to Ringshill Farm. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available and signed.

This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 29 April 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to be commenced on Tuesday, 29 April 2025 and are programmed for completion within one day (with works taking place between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(WILLIAM STREET, RAINHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out -

William Street, Rainham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 8 William Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Station Road, Henry Street and Taswell Road.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 28 April 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 28 April 2025 and are programmed for completion within five days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING

(ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2017 (AS AMENDED)

Medway Council as Local Planning Authority has received the following applications which are being advertised to ascertain the views of persons living near the sites and other interested parties. The proposed developments relate to one or more of the following:

1. The site of the application is within/affecting the setting of a designated Conservation Area (Section 73) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990;

(WATLING STREET AND WOODLANDS ROAD, GILLINGHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable carriageway resurfacing and associated highway maintenance works to be carried out -

Watling Street and Woodlands Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic (a) in Watling Street from and including the junction with Woodlands Road to Will Adams Roundabout and (b) in Woodlands Road from the junction with Watling Street for a distance of 100 metres in a northerly direction. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. Alternative routes will be provided and signed as the works progress.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 28 April 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 28 April 2025 and are programmed for completion within four nights (with works taking place between 7pm and 7am). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(MEDWAY ROAD, GILLINGHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable highway resurfacing and associated maintenance works to be carried out -

Medway Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic from the centre of the three way junction (with arms leading to Prince Arthur Road, Pier Road and Rosebery Road) for 50 metres in each direction. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. Alternative routes will be provided and signed as the works progress.

This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 15 April 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 15 April 2025 and are programmed for completion within one night (between 7pm and 7am). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(LINDEN ROAD, GILINGHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable the gas main to be replaced -

Linden Road, Gilingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic for the entire length. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Gillingham Road, Barnsole Road, Sturdee Avenue and Toronto Road.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 28 April 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 28 April 2025 and are programmed for completion within two months. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
