TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS
Derby City Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the footway.
TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE ON VICARAGE ROAD MICKLEOVER, DERBY
WHEN: 24 March 2025 to 09 June 2025 WHERE: Vicarage Road, footway closure, from its junction with Curzon Court to No 11 Manor Farm. A distance of approximately 50 metres. REASON: Structural Scaffolding installation ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Not Applicable
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ON VILLAGE STREET, DERBY
WHEN: 07 April 2025 to 18 April 2025 WHERE: Village Street, from its junction with Stenson Road to Fun Time Nursery. A distance of approximately 80 metres. REASON: Electrical works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Village street – Kenilworth Avenue – Stenson Road and the same in the opposite direction
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON CANAL STREET, DERBY
WHEN: 31 March 2025 to 02 April 2025 WHERE: Canal Street, from its junction with Castleward Boulevard and Park Street heading towards Siddals Road. A distance of approximately 20 metres. REASON: Carriageway works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Canal Street – Siddals Road – Railway Terrace – Midland Road – Park Street and the same in the opposite direction
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON ST HELENS STREET, DERBY
WHEN: 22 March 2025 (08:00) to 23 March 2025 (16:00) WHERE: St Helens Street, from its junction with Brook Street to its junction with Quaker Way. Access to be maintained REASON: Water works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bridge Street – Lodge Lane – Willow Row – Brook Street.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON ETWALL STREET, DERBY
WHEN: 24 March to 26 March 2025 WHERE: Etwall Street at its junction with Old Uttoxeter New Road Road, a distance of approximately 15 metres. REASON: Waterworks installation
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Uttoxeter Old Road – Findern Street – Etwall Street and the same in the opposite direction
