Notice of Public Meeting Trustee Act 1925
TAKE NOTICE that a Public Meeting will be held at the Parish Hall, Acle on 10th April 2025 at 9.00 am
To pass the following resolutions:
1. That the Acle Conservative Association be closed; and
2. That a new community charity be constituted as a Charitable Incorporated Association [CIO] using Charity Commission foundation model constitution; and
3. To decide the name of the new CIO; and
4. That the assets the Acle Conservative Association be transferred to the new Charitable Incorporated Association. To deal with the following matters
5. To receive nominations for the trustees of the new CIO
6. If thought fit, to accept the nominations of not less than 3 of the nominees.
Anyone who wishes to make representations may either attend the public meeting or send their comments to Dr Rodney Edrich, Chair of the Trustees, Acle Conservative Association c/o Clapham & Collinge, solicitors, St Catherine’s House, All Saints Green, Norwich, NR1 3GA
To be received no later than Wednesday 9th April, 2025.
