What is happening?

WORTHING HACKNEY CARRIAGE –FARES

Changes to the Taxi Tariff.

On 10 February 2025 the Council decided, in accordance with its powers under section 65 Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, to increase the tariff charged by Hackney Carriages as detailed below. Any person who has an objection to the new tariff should write to the Taxi Licensing Officer Portland House Richmond Road Worthing BN11 1HS or email:

taxi.licensing@adur-worthing.gov.uk

within 14 days of first publication of this notice, and the Council will consider their objections on a date to be notified. If no objections are received the tariff below shall take effect on or thereafter 7 March 2025
