Temporary Prohibition of Use of Bridleways 15 & 27 Footpath 26 Cleobury Mortimer

Shropshire Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an order temporarily prohibiting the use of Bridleway 15 leaving the County Road near The Rookery at grid reference SO 6806 7470 traveling east and then south to grid reference SO 6882 7473 where it becomes Bridleway 27 and continues to travel southeast to grid reference SO 6911 7454. The order will also temporarily prohibit the use of Footpath 26 from where it
leaves Bridleway 25 at grid reference SO 6903 7489 traveling in a generally SW then NW direction to where it joins Bridleway 27 at grid reference SO 6884 7471.
The Order will come into operation on 1 st March 2025 for a period of up to 3 months or until works are completed whichever is soonest and is required on the grounds of public safety whilst works are undertaken next to the weir.
There is no alternative route available.
