Supplementary Consultation -
Domestic Rating Measures

The Department of Finance is seeking views on
changes to two domestic rating measures.
• A proposed reduction in the Early Payment
Discount reducing it from the current 4%
discount to 2%.
• Elevating the Maximum Capital Value from its
current £400,000 to £485,000.
The Department is now seeking views from those
who may be directly affected and from the wider
body of ratepayers.
Responses should be provided by close of business
25 April 2025.
