Suffolk - Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road Closures
What is happening?
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3822 CHURCH ROAD, FARNHAM ROAD AND BEVERSHAM ROAD AND THE U2315 TINKER BROOK, BLAXHALL, LITTLE GLEMHAM AND STRATFORD ST ANDREW
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
- U3822 Church Road, Blaxhall from Station Road to Farnham Road
- U3822 Farnham Road, Blaxhall
- U3822 Beversham Road, Little Glemham
- U2315 Tinker Brook, Little Glemham
- U2315 Tinker Brook, Stratford St Andrew
This is to facilitate surface dressing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A12, the A1078, Station Road, Blaxhall and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/01/2025 - 24/01/2025 from 8am - 4pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C733 ASSINGTON ROAD AND DORKING TYE, BURES ST MARY AND ASSINGTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
- The C733 Assington Road, Bures St Mary
- The C733 Dorking Tye, Assington from Bures Road to Assington Road, Bures St Mary
This is to facilitate pre surface dressing patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Cuckoo Hill, the B1508, Head Lane, Canhams Road, Shawlands Avenue, the A134, The Street, Bures Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/01/2025 - 24/01/2025 from 8am until 4pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C454 CHURCH LANE, COPDOCK
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C454 Church Lane, Copdock from the junction with London Road Former A12 to Hall Farm Cottage to facilitate works on overhead electrical cabling and poles. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Church Lane, Bucks Horn Lane, Grove Hill, Ellenbrook Road, Belmont Road, Shepard Drive, Scrivener Drive, the A1071, Swan Hill, Chapel Lane, London Road Former A12 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 22/01/2025 from 10am - 4pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C904 FLIXTON ROAD, LOUND
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C904 Flixton Road, Lound from 160 metres south of The Old School for 100 metres southbound to facilitate overhead cable works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Flixton Road, Blundeston Road, The Street, Olaves Road, Herringfleet Road, Beccles Road, Brownston Lane, Yarmouth Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 31/01/2025 from 9:30am - 3:30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1116 COLLEGE ROAD, FRAMLINGHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1116 College Road, Framlingham from Pembroke Road to Vyces Road to facilitate carriageway repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1116, the A1120, the B1120 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 8am on 31/01/2025 - 5am on 01/02/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
