Environmental Impact Assessment
(Land Drainage Improvement Works) Regulations 1999
It is the intention of the Ancholme Internal Drainage Board (IDB) to undertake repair works on two ordinary watercourse banks at Thornton Catchwater (TF04439694 to TF04459689) and Cutley Beck (TA06380168 to TA06410164 and TA06560106 to TA06550090), Lincolnshire.
Timber piling will be installed (where feasible) at the toe of the bank to provide toe protection against scouring, preventing the loss of ground material.
The IDB has determined that the works are not likely to have significant environmental effects and does not intend to prepare a formal Environmental Statement in respect of the proposed improvement works. Any person who wishes to make representations in relation to the likely environmental effects of the proposed improvement works may do so in writing to the address below. All representations must be made within 28 days of this notice.
Natural England has been consulted under the above Regulations.
Dated this 10th January 2025.
