Amwell View School, Proposal to Enlarge School with Satellite Provision

Proposal to enlarge Amwell View School and Specialist Sports College, Stanstead Abbotts, by 100 places through the opening of a satellite provision in Buntingford from January 2028.

Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to Amwell View School and Specialist Sports College, Station Road, Stanstead Abbotts, SG12 8EH, a community special school for children and young people aged 2 to 19 with severe learning difficulties, from January 2028.

Hertfordshire County Council proposes to enlarge Amwell View School and Specialist Sports College through the opening of a satellite provision in Buntingford to provide an additional 100 places for children and young people with severe learning difficulties. The proposed site is adjacent to Freman College, Bowling Green Lane, Buntingford, SG9 9BT.
