NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that:
A meeting of the COMMONERS OF THERFIELD HEATH will be held at Royston Town Hall (upper room) on Thursday 13 February 2025 at 7:00 PM for the purpose of the election of one Conservator to represent the Commoners (by simple majority of votes cast). Voting rights of Commoners will be in proportion to the number of stints to which each Commoner present and voting is entitled.
A meeting of the PERSONS RESIDENT in the SPECIAL DRAINAGE DISTRICT FOR ROYSTON who are registered as local government electors in the register of electors will be held at Royston Town Hall (upper room) on Thursday 13 February 2025 at 7:10 PM for the purpose of the election of:
(a) one Conservator to represent the residents of the Special Drainage District for a period of 3 years; and
(b) one Conservator to represent the residents of the Special Drainage District for a period of 1 year.
Voting will be by simple majority of the eligible electors present and voting.
Nominations are invited. Candidate nominations must be correctly submitted to - and confirmed as received by - the clerk by 5 PM Friday 24 January 2025. Candidates should contact the clerk for eligibility details and nomination forms via email at clerk@therfieldheath.org.uk.
