What is happening?

Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk Disposal of Land – Local Government Act 1972 Section 123 (2A)

Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk intends to dispose of the Property as described in the Schedule below (“the Property”) by way of the grant of a lease of for use as a sports hub. A plan showing the Property may be inspected at the Council Offices at King’s Court, Chapel Street, King’s Lynn during normal office hours. Any representation or objection to the disposal must be in writing and addressed to the Assistant Director of Property and Projects at King’s Court, BCKLWN, Chapel Street, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, PE30 1EX to arrive not later than 17:00hrs on Friday 3rd January 2025.

Schedule A parcel of open space land at Greenpark Avenue, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, PE30 2NB (as shown edged red on the plan).

Explanatory Note a) The definition of “disposal” under section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 includes the grant of leases exceeding seven years as well as freehold disposals.
