Notice under Section 123(2A) of the intended Disposal of Open Space Land
in the district of Rother, East Sussex.
Dated: Friday 13th December 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 123(2A) of the above mentioned
Act that Rother District Council the owner of the parcel of land described
below which is held and maintained as a public bowls green intends to
dispose of the said land to Sidley Martlets Bowls Club by way of a lease for
the purpose of playing bowls, storage and other activities supporting the
functioning of the Club in accordance with the permitted use set out in the
lease.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PARCEL OF LAND
Land at Sidley Recreation Ground, Bexhill-on-Sea consisting of an outdoor
bowls green, surrounding hard and soft landscaping and boundary treatment,
a pavilion with outdoor terrace, an irrigation unit and storage totaling
approximately 2,631 square metres which is for identification purposes edged
red on the plan.
A plan of the land is available for inspection at Rother District Council, Town
Hall, London Road, Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN39 3JX or it can be
viewed on the Council’s website (link below).

Objections to the above proposed disposal must be made in writing to
Rebecca Owen, Neighbourhood Services, Town Hall, Bexhill-on-Sea, East
Sussex, TN39 3JX by no later than Saturday 28th Decemeber 2024 quoting
