Notice under Section 123(2A) of the intended Disposal of Open Space Land in the district of Rother, East Sussex.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 123(2A) of the above mentioned
Act that Rother District Council the owner of the parcels of land described
below which are held and maintained as public outdoor bowls facilities
intends to dispose of the said land to Bexhill Bowling Club (BBC) and
Polegrove Bowls Club (PBC) by way of separate leases for the purpose of
playing bowls, storage and other activities supporting the functioning of the
clubs in accordance with the permitted uses set out in the leases.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PARCEL OF LAND
Land at The Polegrove, Bexhill-on-Sea consisting of outdoor bowls greens,
pavilions, toilets, storage units and hard and soft landscaped surrounds and
boundary treatments totaling approximately 8,946 square metres (BBC:
4,316sqm and PBC 4,630sqm) which is for identification purposes edged red
on the plan.
A plan of the land is available for inspection at Rother District Council, Town
Hall, London Road, Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN39 3JX or it can be
viewed on the Council’s website (link below).

Objections to the above proposed disposal must be made in writing to
Rebecca Owen, Neighbourhood Services, Town Hall, Bexhill-on-Sea, East
Sussex, TN39 3JX by no later than Saturday 28th December 2024 quoting the
