(Temporary Traffic Regulation Order) Order 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close B794 Haugh Road, Dalbeattie between No.5 and Broomlands Avenue junction from 0930 on 13/01/25 to 2359 on 21/01/25. The closure is necessary to facilitate Scottish Water sewer works. Alternative route available via A711, A745, A75(T), B794 and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

Notice Of Intention To Publish Statement Of Principles 2025-2028
NOTICE is hereby given that Dumfries and Galloway Licensing Board intends to publish their Statement of Principles (2025- 2028) in terms of the Gambling Act 2005 and the Gambling Act 2005 (Licensing Authority Policy Statement) (Scotland) Regulations 2006.
The Statement outlines the principles which the Boards propose to apply in exercising their functions under the Gambling Act 2005.
The Statement of Principles will be published from 23 December 2024 and comes into effect on 31 January 2025.
The Board will publish the Statement of Principles on Dumfries and Galloway Council’s website (www.dumgal.gov.uk) and will make the Statement available for inspection within :-
• Council Offices at: English Street, Dumfries; Buccleuch Street, Dumfries; High Street, Annan; Daar Road, Kirkcudbright; and Sun Street, Stranraer and;
