What is happening?

HORSHAM DISTRICT COUNCIL
Local Government Act 1972
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with Section 123(2A) of the
Local Government Act 1972 ("the Act") that Horsham District Council, in
exercise of its powers under Section 123(1) of the Act, intends to dispose of
the former Groundsmen Cottages at Horsham Cricket Ground, Cricket Field
Road, Horsham, West Sussex. A copy of the plan showing the location of
the land in question is available for inspection at the Council's offices at
Parkside, Chart Way, Horsham, West Sussex RH12 1RL or can be
requested by email to legal@horsham.gov.uk quoting reference Legal/3466
This is a formal notice given to the extent that the property of which the
Council intends to dispose consists or forms part of an open space for the
purposes of Section 123(2A) of the Act.
Representations or objections to the intended disposal should be made in
writing and addressed to Lauren Kelly, Legal Services, Horsham District
Council, Parkside, Chart Way, Horsham, West Sussex RH12 1RL or sent by
email to legal@horsham.gov.uk quoting reference Legal3466, to be
received not later than 17 January 2025.
