TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable electricity supply works to be carried out -

Bunters Hill Road, Wainscott - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of “Bramley” Bunters Hill Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Higham Road, Hollywood Lane, Lower Rochester Road, Town Road and Bunters Hill Road.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 13 January 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 13 January 2025 and are programmed for completion within eight days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

FOUR ELMS HILL, ROUNDABOUT

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable carriageway resurfacing and other associated highway works to be carried out-

Four Elms Hill, Roundabout – the inner circulatory sections opposite the Hasted Road and Four Elms Hill central reservations to be closed to all vehicular traffic. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. Alternative routes will be provided and signed as the works progress.

This Order will come into force on Wednesday, 15 January 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to be carried out on Wednesday, 15 January 2025 and are programmed for completion within one night (between 8pm and 6am). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

OAK ROAD, STROOD

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to lay new services to properties -

Oak Road, Strood - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Cedar Road and the junction with Hawthorn Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Willow Road.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 6 January 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 6 January 2025 and are programmed for completion within four weeks. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

UPPER BUSH ROAD, CUXTON

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enale to

Upper Bush Road, Cuxton - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of “The Bungalow”. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. No alternative route is available. Emergency access will be maintained.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 13 January 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 13 January 2025 and are programmed for completion within five days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

STATION ROAD, RAINHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable railway maintenance to be carried out -

Station Road, Rainham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between points 25 metres north and 25 metres south of Rainham Level Crossing. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be provided and signed via Otterham Quay Lane. Network Rail will provide assistance to pedestrians unable to use the footbridge.

This Order will come into force on Friday, 19 January 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Friday, 19 January 2024 and are programmed for completion within one day (with works taking place between 10am and 6pm). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
